You can delete your Ankabut account and the personal data associated with it at any time, free of charge, whether or not the app is installed.
1. From the app
- Open the Ankabut app and log in.
- Go to Profile, then Settings.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
2. Without the app
Fill in this form with your account’s phone number. We will contact you on this number or by email to confirm that it is really you before deleting anything.
You can also write directly to contact@ankabut.co with the subject “Account deletion” and your account’s phone number.
3. What happens to your data
Once your identity has been verified, your account is deactivated and the associated data (profile, addresses, history, location, messages) is deleted or anonymised. Some data may be kept where required by law, in particular accounting records, or to handle a dispute or prevent fraud.
- Any Order in progress must be completed or cancelled, and any amounts due paid, before deletion.
- Unused credits, promotional codes and benefits are lost.
- Partners: amounts owed to you are paid out before the account is closed.
